Dr. Kalan performs surgery at Private Surgical Suite, Sibley Memorial Hospital, and Suburban Hospital.
Our friendly staff, will help you schedule and prepare for your upcoming surgery. Our surgical nurse will give patients a phone call before surgery to go over pre-operative instructions and answer any questions. Our staff is happy to answer all questions and address any concerns.
If you are having surgery at either Sibley Memorial Hospital or Suburban Hospital, please arrive at the hospital 2 hours before your scheduled surgery time. If you are undergoing an outpatient procedure, please make sure to have a ride home that day for after you have been discharged.
If you are having surgery at Private Surgical Suite, please arrive 1 hour before your scheduled surgery time to the office. If you are running late please give our office a call to let us know. On the day of surgery, you will also need to have a ride to take you home.
